aLGLink Process V2

Process

Assess, design, install, support.

aLGLink’s work starts with the vessel and cruising pattern, then turns connectivity into a documented, supportable system.

01

Assess

Review current hardware, pain points, vessel layout, routes, crew needs, and guest expectations.

02

Design

Define WAN paths, WiFi coverage, segmentation, remote access, monitoring, and failover behavior.

03

Install

Deploy cleanly, label hardware, validate coverage, test failover, and document the final system.

04

Support

Monitor, troubleshoot, and keep improving the system as the boat moves and needs change.

What we need to start

A short technical snapshot is enough for a first plan.

We do not need a perfect network diagram on day one. Useful details include vessel size, current internet sources, typical cruising area, guest count, and what keeps breaking.

Current internet sources

Starlink, cellular, marina WiFi, satellite, or none.

Current network hardware

Router, access points, switches, cameras, and key onboard systems.

Operating pattern

Private yacht, charter fleet, BVI guest hotspot, or mixed use.
